I am so thankful to say I have two places to call my home; San Diego and New York. While the two cities are tremendously different in stature and culture, they do share one characteristic that makes a home a home. In both homes, I am encompassed with love from family, friends, and the people I meet on a day to day basis. My relationship with my homes is one built out of respect. The respect is shaped different for each relationship, whether it be with a person, place or an object. But regardless, the respect is always present. The relationships built out of respect allow me to reap the benefit of feeling like I belong to a loving community. It all goes full circle and the initial respect produces mindfulness, confidence, pride, sincerity, and happiness. "Relationships thrive on mutual respect" - KW

Gratitude

I am spending my last semester at Tisch's Stonestreet studios, which is a unique film and television program, designed to immerse actors in the industry and introduce acting techniques for sit coms, dramas, voice-overs, and commercials. Not only has the program broadened my knowledge of the art of screen acting, it has also introduced me to new actors, who have become some of my dearest friends. I admire how my friends trust their work and are fearless when they act. 
One of my idols, Lucille Ball claimed, "I am not funny. My writers were funny. My direction was funny. The situations were funny. But I am not funny. I am not funny. What I am is brave..." Bravery is key for actors and it also aids the foundation of strong bonds of love and friendship. 
Great acting requires the utmost vulnerability and openness. And having a core group of supportive and professional friends at Stonestreet has allowed for my section to make leaps and strides in our work across the boards.

Getting Started!!!

I've been wanting to start an official blog for over a year now! I am really looking forward to blogging about my thoughts and ideas, uploading photos and videos, and sharing recipes on this page! 

I am a senior at NYU and on my walks to school I pass through the beautiful Washington Square Park. Being a San Diego, California native originally, the color changing of the leaves always amazes me each fall. My mom grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. And in the fall, she would rake the leaves into a giant pile and then jump in it with her friends! She said it was a very inexpensive and fun form of childhood entertainment.
So go jump for fall!
